WREN'S ARTWORK

Adytum

Thu May 07 2026

My first painting for Adytum, one of the four Woven Cities which include Exclave. I made this because I still had a hankering for doing cityscape art after finishing the Kallanti commission. I took a lot of inspiration from my current home city of Boston, Massachusetts.

Kallanti Postcard (Commission)

Sat May 02 2026

A commission for the MIT D20 Lab club's Kallanti campaign. This is the most complex cityscape I've done so far, and I got to explore a lot of new markmaking techniques to draw buildings quickly. Both the artwork and campaign take heavy inspiration from early 20th century Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Threader Trio

Thu Nov 13 2025

Under a Gate Express contract, skilled Threader couriers Gulliver, Tatra, and Mya emerge onto a verdant world where patches of wild Thrum flower around a collection of primordial Weavegates, which sit before the colossal wreckages of Ancient jump ships.

Tatra

Sat Sep 06 2025

An OC for the Woven Cities based on the real-life Tatra T3 tram. Tatra is a homeless busker who lives in the caves beneath Exclave, and belongs to a lineage of humans known as the Ceremonials, who replaced their flesh bodies with Essenced constructs to survive an eldritch cataclysm on their homeworld of Orion.

15 Icarus Street

Wed Aug 06 2025

An apartment rented out by a group of my Woven Cities OCs, in the Ambassador's Tenements neighborhood of Exclave. Left to right are tenants Em, Gulliver, Mowgli, and Wess, and guest Wei. More info on them can be found on my other site exclave.city.

Em's Backstory

Mon Jan 20 2025

Acrylic on canvas

A painting class project depicting the backstory of my OC/fursona Em, who became possessed by a rogue spirit, turning her into one of the many Essencebound who live at the margins of Woven Cities society.

Alazir

Sun Sep 24 2023

A scene from my unpublished novel Sailor for the Second Dusk. It depicts the void city of Alazir, built inside a hollowed comet and drizzled with constant rain. To this day, this is one of my best digital paintings, from back before art school burned me out, when I had the patience to spend over eight hours on one work.
